. TWENTY-THIRD SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME
.FROM THE PASTOR’S DESK
As you may already know,
Bishop Galante has appointed me as Administrator of
St. Stephen’s Parish in Pennsauken, while
remaining Pastor of St. Joseph’s Church.
This week I did learn that is is not a
temporary position, as stated before, but one that will
continue until the pastoral planning of the
Churches in the Diocese of Camden is finalized.
That announcement is forthcoming in the
Spring of 2008 (sometime in March) and then
implemented in the Fall of 2008 (sometime
in September).
Now knowing the length of this double assignment, this task
of administering two parishes at
the same time will be challenging as well
as difficult to say the least. As I’ve
always tried to be
present at all St. Joe’s parish functions,
with the situation as it is, I cannot be in two places at the
same time. As I stated before, other
priests will be here to take my place at St. Joe’s.
Please pray for me and pray for
Vocations!
