FROM THE PASTOR’S DESK
On July 4th in 1776, 56 men signed a document called the
Declaration of Independence. This
action established a nation and changed the world dramatically.
These men came from
different backgrounds, geographic areas and faiths. And yet they all agreed on one thing: that certain rights came
from the Creator and were inalienable, that is, not dependent on the powerful,
but to all human beings.
As we celebrate our independence,
let us remember the guiding hand that bestowed upon us those great freedoms we
enjoy. For what was true then is true
now ---“Blessed is the nation whose God
is the Lord.”
Happy 4th of July
Father Ed Lipinski
Congratulations to our parish, we have
reached our House of Charity/Bishop’s Annual Appeal Goal of $13,000. Your support and
response to this cause will make a difference in helping those who are needy
and less fortunate throughout the Diocese.
Remember, God is never outdone in generosity. May God bless and reward those of you who have supported this
worthwhile appeal.
