FIFTEENTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

Congratulations to our parish, we have reached our House of Charity/Bishop’s Annual Appeal Goal of $13,000.  Your support and response to this cause will make a difference in helping those who are needy and less fortunate throughout the Diocese.  Remember, God is never outdone in generosity.  May God bless and reward those of you who have supported this worthwhile appeal.

On July 1^st, Father Joseph Jurkowski celebrated his 50^th Anniversary as a priest.  We congratulate him and thank him for his many years of dedication and service to the People of  God as he has witnessed so faithfully to the Gospel of Christ.  Next Sunday, July 20^th please join us after the 9 AM and 10:30 AM Masses for coffee and cake in our lower parish hall, where you will have the opportunity to speak with Father Joseph and extend your best wishes to him.

l lipca Ksiądz Józef Jurkowski obchodził 50-tą rocznicę kapłaństwa.  Gratulujemy mu i dziękujemy za wieloletnie oddanie w służbie dla Ludu Bożego, pracą swą daje On świadectwo wiernego wypełniania Nauki Chrystusa. W następną niedzielę 20 lipca, zapraszamy na wspólną modlitwę we Mszy Świetej, a po Mszy o  9 i 10:30 zapraszamy na kawę i ciasto w sali parafialnej.  Każdy będzie miał okazję aby osobiście pogratulować Księdzu.

St. Joseph’s Fund Raising Appeal – thus far we’ve collected $690,143.12 in pledges and cash donations from 948 donors.  The beautiful memorial Restoration Plaque listing the names of people donating $1000 or more on “in loving memory” of someone is now in place on the Mechanic Street side wall. 

Our Lady of Mt. Carmel & Fatima Parish announces the Annual Mount Carmel Feast and Reunion to take place on the Church grounds at Fourth & Ramona Gonzalez (Division) Streets in Camden on Sunday, July 20^th.  Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM and will be followed by the traditional Procession and Reunion.  A wide selection of Italian and Hispanic foods will be available all afternoon.  Rain or Shine – no Rain Date.  For information call Our Lady of Mt. Missionary Cooperative 2008 Appeal – on the weekend of July 26-27 a priest from the Missionary Society of St. James the Apostle will be here at St. Joseph’s to speak to us about his Society’s missionary activity.  Please be generous in this collection.  Thank you.

The Polish American Citizen’s Club is sponsoring their annual Family Picnic at Soupy Island, National Park, NJ. on Saturday, August 16^th 1 PM-6PM rain or shine.  Ticket prices: $25 for adults and $6 for children under 16 years.  For tickets and information, call (856) 779-7484 or (856) 854-4610.

The Rosary Society is sponsoring a "Bakeless" Cake Sale during the months of July and August to help raise funds to support St. Joseph’s Church.  Please donate the price you would pay for a cake or the cost of ingredients to bake a cake.  Place your donation and the form printed below in an envelope labeled ROSARY SOCIETY BAKELESS CAKE SALE and drop the envelope in the collection basket during the months of July and August to help the support our church.
