SECOND SUNDAY OF ADVENT
FROM THE PASTOR’S DESK
The Season of Advent which we now celebrate marks the
beginning of the Church’s new
liturgical year.
As we light the 2nd Advent candle on our
wreath, symbolizing Christ the Light of the world
overcoming darkness and warming a cold world, we are called upon
to change and to reform ourselves
and to make straight the way of the Lord in our lives.
And so let us pray for the grace to love and to serve
the Lord in each other. Let us pray for
hope and
peace as we live His message of long ago.
